So, I was reading, and I came across this part where Arietty and her dad, Pod, are trying to borrow some sugar. And it's just so funny, you know? They're like, "Please, sir, we just need a tiny t of sugar for o tea." And the man is like, "Oh, no way! You're not getting any sugar from me!" And Arietty is like, "But, sir, we promise we won't use it for anything bad!" And the man is like, "I don't care, you're still not getting it!"

I was laughing so hard, you know? It's like, these tiny little people, they're so desperate for sugar, but they're also so polite and kind. It's just so endearing!

And then, there's this part where Arietty and her sister, Sopperett, are trying to borrow some thread. They go to this old woman's house, and she's like, "What do you want?" And Arietty is like, "We just need a tiny t of thread for o sewing." And the old woman is like, "Oh, no way! You're not getting any thread from me!" And Arietty is like, "But, ma'am, we promise we won't use it for anything bad!" And the old woman is like, "I don't care, you're still not getting it!"

I was just laughing so hard, you know? It's like, these tiny little people, they're so determined, but they're also so polite. It's just so cute!

So, I was thinking, you know, if I were a tiny little person like Arietty, I would definiy borrow some sugar and thread. But, you know, I would also be super polite and promise not to use them for anything bad. Because, hey, you've got to live by the rules, right?

Anyways, if you hen't read "The Borrowers" in English, I highly recommend it. It's just so adorable, and it's a great reminder that even the allest things in life can bring so much joy.
